John Robson will reinforce Atento´s management team in the area of technology.

MADRID - John Robson has been appointed CTO (Chief Technology Officer) and member of the Management Committee of Atento, the multinational Customer Relationship Management (CRM) company in the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) sector, leader in Latin America and the second largest company of its kind in the world in terms of revenue. John Robson joins a team formed by more than 150,000 employees in 16 countries.
With this appointment, John will reinforce Atento´s management team in the area of technology, with the aim of giving a new approach of added value strategy and growth opportunity for the company, which is already one of the most important companies in the sector and gives service to more than 500 customers worldwide. The position of CTO is newly created in Atento with the objective of maximizing the benefits for Atento of global strategic projects within the technology and information systems domains. As Atento´s CTO, John will also lead the technology component of the wider transformation process that Atento is undergoing to become the most admired company in the sector by its customers, employees and shareholders. He will directly report to Alejandro Reynal, CEO of Atento.

John holds a Diploma in Computer Science from Teesside Polytechnic in the UK. He is a recognized expert in contact center technology and information systems management at international level. His 26 years of experience encompasses CTO and CIO roles in a wide range of firms mainly within the IT, BPO and contact center sectors. Within his extensive and successful professional career in the field John also played senior roles for Transcom, Sitel, Verizon Business Security Solutions, Liberata PLC, Firefox LTD, Vital Online and Netmanage Inc., among others.
